Day 1 - Departure Day

Embark on your spiritual journey as you depart for Prague, Czech Republic from your local airport. Meals and drinks served aloft.

**Please note that while we make every effort to follow the 10-day itinerary as planned, there may be occasions when adjustments are necessary. Consider this itinerary as a guide rather than a fixed schedule of events and places to be visited.

Day 2 - Arrive Prague

Upon arrival at Prague Airport (PRG), collect your luggage and be welcomed by a Glimmer Tours representative. A brief journey will then bring you to your hotel where you can relax and rejuvenate. Conclude the day with dinner and a restful night at the hotel.

Day 3 - Prague

We begin our day at the Church of Our Lady Victorious, home to the miraculous statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague.

We then visit St. Nicholas Church, a significant Baroque landmark known for its rich history and architecture.

Next, we continue to Prague Castle for an interior visit of its most important landmarks, including St. Vitus Cathedral, the spiritual heart of the Czech Republic and St. George’s Basilica.

After lunch, we spend free time in Old Town, with an opportunity to see Charles Bridge and explore at your own pace.

The day concludes with a return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night before the next day’s journey.

Day 4 - Prague - Vienna

Our day begins with a journey to Vienna, traveling through the scenic countryside of the Czech Republic and Austria.

After lunch, we visit St. Peter’s Church, a historic sanctuary in the city center, offering a tranquil space for prayer and reflection. We will participate in Mass here, deepening our spiritual journey in Vienna.

The day concludes with a return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

Day 5 - Vienna

We begin our day at St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the spiritual heart of Vienna, where we enjoy a guided visit of this historic Gothic church.

We then make our way to Hofburg Palace, the former imperial residence of the Habsburg dynasty, exploring its elegant rooms and rich history.

After lunch, enjoy free time to explore at your leisure.

Later, we visit the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, built in gratitude after Vienna was spared from the plague. We then pass by the Otto Wagner Pavilion at Karlsplatz before continuing with a panoramic drive along the Ringstrasse, showcasing Vienna’s grand historic buildings and cultural beauty.

The day concludes with dinner, offering time to reflect on our experiences.

Day 6 - Vienna - Kraków

Our day begins at Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty, where we tour its elegant state rooms and gardens. We then continue our journey to Kraków, a city steeped in spiritual and historical significance, renowned for its Catholic heritage and the legacy of St. John Paul II.

We conclude the day with dinner and a restful night, preparing for the spiritual experiences that await us.

Day 7- Kraków – Auschwitz – Wadowice – Kalwaria

Our day begins with a visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, a site of significant historical importance. We will explore the former concentration camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau, learning about their role during World War II and their place on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

After lunch, we journey to Wadowice, the birthplace of St. John Paul II, to visit his family home and the parish where he was baptized, gaining insight into the early life of our beloved saint.

Next, we continue to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, a UNESCO-listed sanctuary devoted to the Passion of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Here we visit the Basilica of Saint Mary of Angels, home to the miraculous image of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Kalwaria.

After a day of deep spiritual experiences, we return to Kraków for dinner and rest.

Day 8 - Kraków

Our day begins with a guided orientation of Kraków’s historic city center, with time in the Main Market Square and Cloth Hall area.

After lunch, you will have some free time for personal reflection or further exploration. Our pilgrimage continues with a visit to Saint Mary’s Church, renowned for its Gothic altarpiece crafted by Veit Stoss and the famous hourly trumpet call that echoes from its tower. This church has been a central place of worship and Marian devotion for centuries. We then walk along Kanonicza Street, one of the oldest streets in Kraków, lined with historic buildings that reflect the city’s rich past.

We continue with a visit to the Wawel Cathedral, the Coronation Cathedral of the Polish Kings. Here, we reflect on the lives of the saints and monarchs whose tombs rest within this sacred space, including Saint Stanislaus, the patron saint of Poland.

We conclude the day by attending Mass at Wawel Cathedral, a moment of spiritual connection in this historic and holy place.

Day 9 - Kraków

We begin our day with a journey to the Lagiewniki district, where we will attend Mass at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. This sacred site, where Saint Faustina Kowalska received the revelations of Divine Mercy, is a profound place of pilgrimage, inviting us to reflect on the infinite mercy of God.

After our time in Lagiewniki, we visit the St. John Paul II Shrine, a place dedicated to the life and legacy of one of the most beloved popes in history. Here, we can venerate important relics, including a vial of his blood, and deepen our spiritual connection through prayer and reflection.

Following lunch, we return to Kraków, where you will have the afternoon at leisure to rest, explore, or spend time in personal reflection.

Day 10 - Return Home

Today, a Glimmer Tours representative will transfer you to Kraków Airport (KRK), ensuring you catch your flight home safely with unforgettable memories.
